Amaravati designs submission today VIJAYAWADA: The final draft designs of the construction of Amaravati Capital City Will be submitted by Norman Foster and Partners on May 22. The state government is planning to begin construction Works as soon as the designs are finalised, according to a press release handed out by CRDA media adviser A. Chandrasekhar Reddy.

According to the press release, while speaking to the CRDA officials in a tele-conference, the Chief Minister had directed them to construct nine Smart cities at “jet speed” to provide the public with Educational, Medical, Industries, Trade facilities, as Well as employment to youth in World reputed IT companies, The CM added that every construction in the capital city should reflect the history, culture and heritage of Amaravati, and should in fact recreate the history of Amaravati.

The final draft of the Norman Foster and Partners master plan designs indicated that Raj Bhavan and the Chief Minister’s Camp Office will have a Krishna River frontal view, said the officials. They added that there were chances of allocating 1,450 acres of land for administrative Wings, High Court and Judiciary buildings and others with basic infrastructure facilities.
CRIDA Commissioner Ch. Sridhar said, While the World-reputed core capital city spread over 1,294 acres With government complexes had gained World recognition, the final draft designs of Raj Bhavan, the Assembly, High Court, and other constructions in Amaravati Capital Over 1,450 acres had their own speciality and attraction.
The first segment Would be for the Assembly, the second segment for the ministers, Secretaries, HODs offices, Government Housing for ministers, Legislative Members, Members of the Legislative Council, IAS, IPS, IFS officials, Gazetted and Non-Gazetted Officials’ complexes. The third segment would be for Cultural Buildings and Private Commercial Complexes, and in the fourth, Sports Complexes and Convention Centres. The construction proposals are to be submitted, he said.
